Naxos has built its reputation on providing affordable access to fine music and audiobook content. NSWL is a continuation of the same concept. Each institution decides on the number of users they want to have access to the service (minimum five users for universities and three for schools). Yes, text for public domain productions are available to print. The text of copyrighted titles cannot be printed out as this would violate the rights of the publisher of the text.

What is IP authentication? |

If you represent an institution subscribing for multiple simultaneous accesses, you can choose to have a dedicated URL for your users of NSWL. You will then be able to access NSWL without an additional login, as long as you have the rights to your institution's intranet. You are authenticated via the verification of your IP address, which tells us if you are within the premise of the institution.

How many simultaneous users can access the library? |

There is no limit to the number of simultaneous users you may have. Each institution decides how many subscriptions they wish to purchase. We recommend one subscription per user or workstation.

What does Timeout mean? |
| A: |
A Timeout happens when a user's session has been idle or inactive for longer than a specified period of time. A session is considered idle or inactive when there is no activity (i.e. no keyboard/click interactions) from the user on NSWL’s main window. Note that pausing the player is not considered an activity. However, if you are playing an unabridged audiobook, the transition from one track to the next will reset the idle or inactive time to zero and will keep your session alive or active.
For Individuals, the Timeout setting is set to 12 hours. For others users, the Timeout setting can be set on the Manage Account page. The setting’s range can be from 4 to 240 minutes (4hrs).
When the Timeout happens, the user session is terminated and the user will be required to re-login.

What does "session has expired" mean? |

The "session has expired" message will appear if you have remained idle or inactive on the site after the Timeout setting has been reached. Please see to What does Timeout mean?.

No. It is not possible to download or burn to CD any content NSWL. Users can easily gain online access to the catalog number of the production they need, and purchase it at their local bookstore, or order it through our online retailers which you can find on the website www.naxos-audiobooks.com.

How reliable is the service? |

Since NSWL's content is streamed through the Internet, the quality of the service is dependent upon the quality of service provided by your local Internet Service Provider. Naxos makes every possible effort to ensure that its servers have sufficient capacity and adequate rate of connectivity to provide each customer with a quality of service comparable to current standards in the industry in the customer's locale. Maintenance is performed at times of low usage and will be announced in advance.

Can I use NSWL in a language other than English? |
| A: |
You will find "Choose a language" in the upper right-hand corner of the NSWL header, above Keyword Search; make your language choice from the drop down menu and some web pages or part of a web page will be displayed in the chosen language. If you log into NSWL with an administrator username and password on behalf of an institution, you will see the "Language" parameter in "Manage Account". This parameter allows some web pages or part of a web page to be displayed in the chosen language, such as Korean. Note, however, functions cannot be done in the chosen language if the chosen language is not English, and only some pages will be in the chosen language. For instance, Keyword Search function still needs to be done in English.
